Maybe You're Not Good Enough
And that's OK

The #1 Reason To Not Rush Success
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.” Proverbs 21:5
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
Everyone wants to get into content creation, but many people fizzle out before they see even a glimpse of success.
I’ve been posting YouTube videos consistently, twice a week, for over a year now and I fell in love with the entire process.
From scripting a video to adjusting the camera settings, from multiple takes to the editing and upload process — I love it all.
I’ve also been seeing some growth!
We are closing in around 300 subscribers right now.
But, want to know the reason I’m not at 1k, 5k, or 10k subs right now?
I’m simply not good enough yet, and that’s OK.
YouTube analytics always keeps it 100% and tell you if your videos suck or not.

Example of a terrible performance
But as long as you don’t get discouraged, even when your numbers aren’t the best, you are on the right path.
Every known YouTuber always says the same thing along the lines of, “If you want to be successful, you must stay consistent and keep going getting better with each video. Then your day will come.”
I ask myself this question all the time, “If I went to bed and woke up with 50k or 100k subscribers, would I be ready for that sudden growth?”
10/10 times the answer is no.
I believe God has us go through a slow process as a benefit, not a detriment.
Those who are able to handle success for a long time always have had periods of little to no growth.
Those who gain success overnight almost always get overwhelmed.
Why do you think the majority of actors, actresses, or artists who’ve achieved mainstream success as kids struggle throughout their lifetime?
They weren’t ready for what comes with the fame!
Enjoy and be content in the season you are in.
Learn, work hard, and develop healthy habits in seasons of no growth.
When your time comes, you’ll be ready.
