Motivation Doesn't Work

Learn From My Mistakes
Motivation is the wrong feeling to rely upon.
I’m not saying it’s a bad thing to feel. In fact, you should be motivated from time to time.
But, to have motivation as the sole reason to pursue something is a dangerous game.
I’m a prime example of why…
Do you know how many times during my dark year of 2021 that I felt motivated to go to the gym? Probably 100’s of times.
Do you know how many times I actually went to the gym? Maybe twice.
Each time were a couple of months apart.
Motivation isn’t a sustainable method because you are relying on your feelings, not actions to execute.
It was DISCIPLINE that got me real results.
Discipline is not dependent on how you feel.
I could have my worst day but I still get my to do list done because my feelings are completely out of the equation.
If you opened up this newsletter today, maybe you are in that exact same boat I was and need to hear this message.
Reply on DISCIPLINE, not MOTIVATION.
Do you feel motivated to change your situation but can’t figure out how to get over the hump to see results?
Do you not know where to start to help you establish the discipline needed to finally achieve your goals?
If that’s you, let’s talk and develop a sustainable plan.
Don’t keep waiting for more and more signs that you need to invest in yourself. The best time to take action was was yesterday and the second best time is today.
