My Mindset Has Changed Forever

The moment I proposed was the moment I said to God, “I will not let you down. Thank you for entrusting me with your daughter.”

It was almost like a lightning bolt struck my brain and my mindset shifted.

I can no longer think for myself. Now I have to think for two. Every decision that I make will affect her because we are in the process of becoming one.

There is giant weight to that, but at the same time a new level of confidence has developed.

I’m excited to protect, provide, and lead my family.

I’m excited to go above and beyond to make sure my future wife and future kids are taken care of in all aspects.

At first, I didn’t believe this but after I proposed, I totally understood.

When you have people that will be dependent on you, it does something to a man.

It gives us superpowers.

When I see men coast and let themselves go after becoming a husband, it makes me sick.
