The Reality of The Christian Life

How do you respond when things don’t go as planned?

How do you respond when life shakes you to your core?

How do you respond when you feel like your life has been “uprooted”?

It’s normal to have immediate concerned reaction.

But it’s important to soon after take thoughtful action because your next moves will determine your future.

Life isn’t a series of random events. They are orchestrated.

There are no such thing as coincidences and life events often have no warning signs.

But, this isn’t to scare you. Instead, I hope this encourages you.

You are in fact ready to encounter each challenge that life throws at you.

Throughout your life, God has been preparing you this entire time. By going through life, He is helping you developing your character, strength, and resilience.

Through each storm, you take away lessons that are meant to help you through the next storm.

This is what God has destined the Christian life to be.

 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

There are zero Godly characters in the entire Bible that has not gone through a storm.

Yet, they overcame each one, wrote about it through divine inspiration from God himself, and now they’re in Heaven.

This is why it’s imperative to remain in your Word daily.

The Word develops your character and will give you strength.

The Word brings you closer to Jesus so you know when the storms arise that He’s in the storm with you.

Take courage in these 3 points that whatever you go through it:

1) God has prepared you for it.

2) You’ll overcome it with God.

3) You’ll learn and be ready for the next storm.
