Why It's Easy to Stay Consistent
Believe it or Not

Why Staying Consistent is Easier than You Think
Do you know why the greatest professional athletes (Kobe, Lebron, Jordan, Ronaldo, Messi) are who they are?
Are they talented? Absolutely.
Do they have the skillset? Of course.
But those two aspects are not why they are all time greats.
You don’t get to that level of off sheer talent, but the will to do it.
That is the ultimate key towards staying consistent in any endeavor.
Do you have the will?
Are you willing to commit so hard that it becomes second nature?
Strength training, daily movement, nutrition, recovery, mini goal setting all become second nature if an insatiable will is developed.
The key word here is: Developed
It in fact can be trained and improved over time.
You don’t have to be a special breed of a human being, you just have to stay consistent for a long duration of time.
After doing it for a long time, it will then feel weird to not do it.
Think about this:
If we value our jobs to keep food on the table, we should value fitness in that same light.
If money is the currency to obtain our basic needs, then fitness is our currency for the body.
What are you depositing weekly?
You don’t need to think twice in order to go to work, you just go to work because you have to.
Same concept applies to fitness.
Those gym goers who spent 10+ years in the gym are successful because they made it a necessity.
They can’t truly live without it. A part of them is missing if they don’t exercise.
That’s why it’s easy to workout, and so hard to skip.
I know for me, I battle depressing thoughts on the daily, so the gym (besides Jesus) is a sanctuary for me.
It’s not easy for me to skip, I feel it mentally the next day (unless it’s a rest day).
Make it a sanctuary for you, and staying consistent will be extremely easy.
Until next time.
