Winners Adopt This Mindset

You will make the most amount of progress by surrounding yourself with others who exhibit greatness and inspire the greatness within you.

When you develop quality relationships with these types of people, you will experience making less mistakes while speeding up your progress.

The catch is that oftentimes this means you must be willing to look like a novice for an extended period of time and not be the best in the room.

One of the worst mistakes that you can make is thinking that you must be seen as the best in the room or have a “too good for correction” mindset.

Do not let your pride or ego prevent you from thinking that you are better off figuring out everything on your own.

Remember Proverbs 11:2 says, “When pride comes, then comes disgrace but with humility comes wisdom.

Reframe your mindset from thinking that you will be viewed as “stupid” to God is gifting you an opportunity to learn from someone who will help you become “great” faster.

Do not let your unwillingness to leave your pride and ego outside potentially cost you money, time, opportunities, or your health.

Only losers have a mindset of jealous and insecurities when they see others at higher levels.

Winners, instead, have the mindset that being surrounded by greatness inspires them to become greater and aim to one day be the same inspiration for others.

In 2022, I changed from a losers to winners mentality by reaching out to fitness coach, Jack, to help me get back on my weight loss journey after years of struggling with a lack of drive and personal accountability.

Reaching out to Jack was one of best decisions I ever made, even at the expense of my own pride and ego. While I may have struggled at first to get back into shape, over time I got better and better to now I am back to doing weighted pull-ups like I did in college.

Imagine if I never reached out to Jack.

I’d probably still be in bed overweight and questioning my life’s purpose.

Instead, I’m now back to being in shape living out my life’s purpose and have had the privilege to coach 8+ people who reached out to me on how to develop the best fitness and nutrition plan to meet their goals.

Instead of continuing to try to see results on their own with no success, they each decided to work with someone who has the wisdom to share from their own weight loss rollercoaster journey.

If you’ve been struggling on your own to see results and looking for the inspiration to stay consistent, let’s talk so I can share what I did to break through my own obstacles to finally see weight loss success.

You’re one conversation away from experiencing your breakthrough.
